Donna Belle Davis

Donna Davis, daughter of Charles and Dorothy Hebner, was born May 11, 1930, in Michigan. She entered into rest on March 10, 2019, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of 88.

She was united in marriage to Willard “Bill” Davis on March 24, 1957.

Donna worked as a waitress and meat cutter.

Bill and Donna traveled the world with his 20-year military career, making life-long friends at each place.

Donna was a wonderful homemaker, an excellent cook and enjoyed working with the love of her life on the farm in Pleasant Hope. Together they raised the first-ever cross of Charolais and Angus cattle in Missouri. Bill and Donna continued working side-by-side upon retirement at their home in Buffalo, where they received awards for their beautiful yard.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Bill, of the home; daughters: Linda Tidwell and Cheri Voumens; and many dear friends.

Funeral services were 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 14, 2019, in the Cantlon Otterness & Viets Funeral Home with Pastor Jennifer Long officiating. Music was by Patsy and Anna Viets. Pallbearers were friends. Honorary pallbearers were Bill Walsh and Morgan Wrinkle. Burial followed in the Pleasant Hope Cemetery under the direction of the Cantlon Otterness & Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo.
