Mary Lou Watt

Mary Lou Watt, 73, returned to her heavenly home on March 2, 2019, after a long battle with illness.

Her hobbies included putting puzzles together, watching birds, and she enjoyed watching her grandkids in their sporting events. She was very proud of her grandchildren who served in the Army and Navy! She was dearly loved by all who knew her.

Mary Lou was preceded in death by her parents, Eddie and Lillian Henderson, from Plad, Mo., and daughter, Tracy.

Mary Lou was born March 16, 1945, and raised in and around Tunas, Mo., where she attended school.

She married Don Watt in Kansas City, Mo. They raised their four children on a farm near Tunas, Mo.

She is survived by her husband, Don, of Schertz, Texas; and four children: Don Jr. (and Sherrie) Watt of Oklahoma, Teresa (and Norm) Fernandez of Texas, Terri (and Chris) Banduch of Texas, and Kelly (and Robin) Freeman of Texas; two sisters: Margie Prock of Lebanon, Mo., and Melba Sharp of Buffalo, Mo.; eight grandchildren: Darrick Jones, Joshua Jones, Kirby Jones, Jared Jones, Thomas Fernandez, Nicole Fernandez, Zachary Watt and Meghan Watt; and four great-grandchildren.  

Mary Lou was laid to rest at OLPH Catholic Church in Selma, Texas, on March 7, 2019.
