Bertie Ann Jacobson, 66, was born May 1, 1950, in Lebanon, the daughter of Stanley Foust and Bertha Jean Young Cady. She died Nov. 15, 2016, in her home.

She moved to Macks Creek as a child and graduated from Macks Creek High School in 1968.

On Oct. 16, 1971, she was united in marriage with Wayne Thomas “Tom” Jacobson. She lovingly raised her children and later worked at Pinocchio’s Day Care in Camdenton. She worked as the custodial supervisor at First National Bank in Camdenton for many years. She retired from the bank to spend time with her family.

She had accepted Christ as her Savior and was a member of Walk on the Water Faith Church in Osage Beach for many years.

She was known for her baking and made her famous pies for her family and friends for many years. She was a thoughtful person and had a gift of sending cards to those in need at the right time. She cherished the time spent with her family and always looked forward to family get-togethers.

A woman of deep faith and even through all of her treatments, she never lost faith. She witnessed to the patients, nurses and doctors during their treatments and wanted to make sure that they all knew of Christ and his love for everyone.

She was a loving wife, mom, meemee and aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. Family and friends will treasure the many wonderful memories she has created for them.

Bertie was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Kay Rausch; and a brother, Andy Cady.

Survivors include her husband, Tom, of the home; her daughters: Betty Ann and husband, Danny Linton, Macks Creek, and Jincy and husband, Joey Vaughan, Eldon; two granddaughters: Lacey and Danielle Linton; a great-granddaughter, Zoey Keehler; a number of nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and many dear friends.
