Services: 1 p.m. Dec. 27, Cantlon Otterness & Viets Funeral Home, Buffalo, Mo. Burial in Plad Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Dec. 26 at the funeral home.

Pastor Kenny Mizer officiated.

Escorts were Jimmie Joe Rodelander, Ricky Rodelander, Dean Rhodelander, James Griffith, Tristan Summers and Chuck Summers. Honorary escorts were Randy Rodelander, Rodney Rodelander, Darren Garrison and John Griffith.

Beverly Kay (Rodelander) Carrin, 76, was born Feb. 27, 1942, the daughter of George and Novella (Masters) Rodelander. She died Dec. 22, 2018, at her home near Tunas, Mo., after a long illness.

She was a lifelong member of Plad Southern Baptist Church and a graduate of Windyville High School.

She worked as a postal mail sorter at the Main Post Office in Kansas City, Mo., for 17 years.

On July 21, 1962, she was united in marriage with William “Bill” Carrin.

Kay, as most people knew her, was a dedicated wife, mother, sister and aunt. She loved her family and the Lord very much.

She loved to collect dolls and Precious Moments items, and listen to Southern gospel music. She was also a dedicated Kansas City Chiefs fan.

Kay was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; her parents; her son, William Gregory Carrin; and one brother, Jimmie Rodelander.

Survivors include her daughter, Bridgett Renee (Carrin) Sprofera; daughter-in-law, Cassie Carrin; one grandson, Frank Giddens; her brother, Rick and wife, Denise Rodelander; sister-in-law, Shirley Rodelander; nephew, Jimmie Joe; niece, Danielle and husband, Matthew Fleetwood; nephew, Ricky and wife, Amanda Rodelander; nephew, Randy Rodelander; nephew, Rodney Rodelander; special great-nieces and great-nephews: Brandon and wife, Sherrie, Clayton, Mason, Savannah, Matthew and Joshua; and other family members and many friends who will all truly miss her.
