Services: A celebration of life was held April 11 at the home of her daughter in Springfield. Cremation rites were accorded by Greenlawn Funeral Home, Springfield. Burial was in Louisburg Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Louisburg Cemetery, in care of Georgia Hale, 67 Rocket Rd., Buffalo, MO 65622, or given to her daughter.

 Blanche Mae Martin, 94, was born Feb. 11, 1921, in Louisburg, the daughter of Arthur and Retta Moore. She died April 9, 2015, at Magnolia Square Nursing Care, Springfield.

She was reared and lived almost her entire life in Louisburg. She raised her family, farmed and worked in Louisburg, Urbana and Buffalo.

She was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church of Louisburg.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 68 years, Johnnie Martin; her daughter, LaJohna; two brothers: Vernon and Nelson; and a sister, Sylvia.

Survivors include her daughter, Kathy Louth, Springfield; two grandsons: Keenan Sr. and wife, Lisa Gillispie, Bauxite, Ark., and Lancer and wife, Janice Gillispie, Fulton; great-grandson, Keenan Gillispie Jr., Bauxite, Ark.; step-great-grandson, Andy Lindner, Fulton; and many friends.
