Services: 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9, Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton. Burial in Dale Blair Memorial Cemetery, Camdenton.

Memorials may be made to the family and left at the funeral home.

Carol Joy Richardson, 68, was born Aug. 14, 1947, in Windsor, the daughter of Roma Marvin and Ince Blanche (Stouffer) Hicks. She died Feb. 3, 2016, at her home in Camdenton.

She was united in marriage with Loyd Thomas Richardson on Oct. 25, 1967, in Tunas.

She was reared in Camden County, attended school in Macks Creek and was a graduate of Camdenton High School. She worked as a certified nurse’s aide for Windsor Estates for many years.

She made a profession of faith and was baptized on Nov. 19, 1961, in Macks Creek Baptist Church.

She was a Girl Scout leader for many years and in her spare time enjoyed doing arts and crafts. Most of all, time spent with her family brought her joy. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and a caring neighbor and friend.

She was preceded in death her parents; and her husband of 15 years in 1982.

Survivors include her daughter, Angela and husband, Bradley Haynes, Camdenton; six grandchildren: Ashley Bond, Jefferson City, and Marissa Bond, Haily Vansyoc, Logan Haynes, Caleb McQuen and Joshua Pitts, all of Camdenton; three great-grandchildren: Sincere, Sequan and Sani Vansyoc; and a host of other relatives and many friends who will treasure the memories she created with her family and friends.
