Christopher Allen Schwanke, 31, of Marshfield was born April 24, 1987, in Springfield, Mo., the son of Kim Allen Schwanke and Karen Sue (Letterman) Ford. He died July 31, 2018.

Those who knew him best would remark upon his unique sense of humor and his willingness to help others when possible. But they also knew he was loyal to his many friends throughout the years; that he was a hardworking man who always had to keep busy; that he loved his family, even when he did not know how to show it; and above all, that he was an amazing and loving father.

Chris was preceded in death by his Schwanke grandparents; and Grandfather Letterman.

Survivors include his son, Conner, Springfield; grandmother, Beverly, Marshfield; parents: Karen, Marshfield, and Kim and Jay, Buffalo, Mo.; brothers: Kyle and Curtis; sisters: Ashley, Amanda, Katlyn and Bobbi Jo; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
