Corey Justin Warford, 25, was born Dec. 16, 1990, in Modesto, Calif., the son of Steve Earl and Tamara Lynn (Childress) Warford. He died Oct. 23, 2016, in his home in Lebanon.

On Jan. 7, 2013, he was united in marriage with Felicia Dawn Willbanks.

He was raised in Buffalo and graduated from Buffalo High School in 2009. He then served his country faithfully in the U.S. Marine Corps from June 6, 2009, until being honorably discharged on Jan. 24, 2014.

He and his wife made their home in Louisburg, while he worked for Bass Pro in Springfield. They moved to Lebanon, where he worked for a Kum and Go Store for a short time before beginning work as a merchandiser for the Coca-Cola Bottling Company in Rolla. He was also attending Drury University where he was studying criminology and psychology.

He was a prolific gamer and also enjoyed collecting firearms, going to shooting ranges and having target practice. His family was very important to him and he enjoyed having time with his brother and sisters and nieces.  

Survivors include his wife, Felicia, of the home; his mother, Tammy and husband, Aaron Dearing, Louisburg; his father, Steve and wife, Trish Warford, Seymour; a brother, Steve Warford Jr., Louisburg; two sisters: Kyndall and husband, Shawn Kornbrust, Mendon, and Chylene Warford, Phillipsburg; two nieces; his maternal grandparents, Gary and Glenda Childress, Atwater, Calif,; his paternal grandparents, Jeanette and Floyd Havner, Modesto, Calif.; his mother-in-law, Delta-Dawn Wilson, Elkland; and many other relatives and friends.
