Services: 2 p.m. Saturday, March 24, First Baptist Church of Macks Creek. Burial in Macks Creek Cemetery, Macks Creek. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 23, Hedges-Scott Funeral Home, Macks Creek.

Dolores Kathryn “Kathy” Moulder, 61, of Macks Creek was born in Hobbs, N.M. She died March 20, 2018, after a battle with cancer.

She lived in Tioga, La., until she was 14 and moved to Kirkwood, where she graduated from Kirkwood High School in 1974.

On July 6, 1974, she was united in marriage with Joseph Moulder. They moved to Springfield, where she began a career as a dental assistant, and started a family.

They moved to Macks Creek in 1985. She dedicated much of her time to Macks Creek school activities, such as PTA, booster club, band club and serving on the school board for 12 years.

She enjoyed gardening, needlepoint, cooking, raising her three sons and spending time with her grandchildren.

She was a member of the Church of Christ and was saved and baptized at the age of 12 while living in Tioga. She attended the First Baptist Church of Macks Creek.

She forever will be remembered by her family and friends.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Neda Cavender; sister, Debra; and stepbrother, Howard Talley.

Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Joseph; her children: Darren, Macks Creek, Scott and wife, Kelli, Fair Grove, and Shawn and wife, Whitney, Southgate, Mich.; grandsons: Silas, Beckett and Corbin; stepmother, Madeline Cavender, Shreveport, La.; stepbrother, Johnny and wife, Ginger Talley, Keithville, La.; and stepsister, Sharon and husband, Bobby Howard, Shreveport, La.
