Graveside services: 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 25, Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, under the direction of Pitts Chapel of Greenlawn Funeral Homes, Bolivar. Visitation: 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home.

Dorothy Leota Morrison, 93, formerly of Urbana, was born April 12, 1921, in Bloomington, Ill., the daughter of Frank and Nora (Johnson) Scott. She died Aug. 21, 2014, at her home in Dunnegan.
She was united in marriage with Charles Nathan Morrison.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 64 years; and one daughter, Mary Monroe.
Survivors include two sons: Edward and wife, Jenny MOrrison, Dunnegan, and Jack and wife, Teala Morrison, Rockport, Ind.; three daughters: Sharon Yates, Bolivar, Debbie and husband, Tom Jackson, Louisville, Ky., and Dorothy Morrison, Clearwater, Fla.; several grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
