Gene Gilpin, 84, Concordia, died following a two month illness.
No matter if you were a stranger, friend or family member, he met you with a smile, a hug, and made you feel loved.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Bonnie Gilpin; two sons: Rick Gilpin, Independence, and Greg Gilpin, Indianapolis, Ind.; one sister, Shirley Triplett, Pleasanton, Calif.; one brother, Ronald Gilpin, Buffalo; and a host of family members and friends who loved him dearly.
