Gladys Conley, 96, Fair Grove, was born Nov. 29, 1919, in Fair Grove, the daughter of Otis and Elta Wommack. She died Feb. 10, 2016, at Woodland Manor, Springfield.
She was a member of Fair Grove Methodist Church and the Eastern Star. She worked for many years at St. John’s Hospital. She loved her church. Her Sunday school class always remembered her on special occasions during her time at Woodland Manor.
Gladys was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Junior; her brothers: Raymond, Bill and Jimmy Joe.
Survivors include her daughter, Naomi and husband, Jack McKinney; grandchildren: Randy and Cindy McKinney; great-grandchildren: Lacey Currier and Travis McKinney; great-great-grandchildren: Olivia, Alex, Triniti, Caleb, Triston, Destini and Ashley; her brother, Tom Wommack; and sisters: Martha McGilvery and Lillian Hein.
