Guy Whitney, 93, died Oct. 1, 2015, after a long and beautiful life.
He was born and reared in Tunas, where he grew up on the family farm. Along with his brothers and sister, he moved to Fairbanks, Alaska, where he lived most of his life. He worked as a mechanical contractor throughout the entire state of Alaska.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Anita.
Survivors include three children: Guy “Warren” Jr., Jane and Lynn; and nine grandchildren.
