Services: 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, Montgomery-Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo. Burial in Powell Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

The Rev. Dennis Skinner will officiate. Recorded music selections are “The Old Rugged Cross” and “What a Friend We Have in Jesus.”

Escorts are Leonard Bliss, Dennis Skinner, Jeff Blecher, Mike Risinger, Justin Zimla and Robert Zimla.

Hazel Mae Larkin, 71, was born Sept. 12, 1943, in Modesto, Calif., the daughter of Roma and Ruth (Shembarger) McDaniel. She died Aug. 12, 2015, in Springfield, following a long illness.

She was a wonderful and beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister.

Hazel was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Donnie.

Survivors include her brother, Kenny Ray and wife, Evelyn McDaniel, Buffalo; two children: Teresa and husband, Robert Zimla, Lebanon, and Mike and wife, Sara Larkin, Buffalo; four grandchildren:  Justin Zimla, Jerilyn Huxley, Jayne Wilson and Ghesika Wilson; and three great-grandchildren: Addy Mae Wilson, Savannah Wilson and Gage Huxley.
