Hobert A. Redd, 88, Halfway, was born Nov. 11, 1924, at Halfway, the son of Andrew and Lottie (Barham) Redd. He died Feb. 4, 2013, at Mercy Hospital, Springfield.
He was a U.S. Army World War II veteran.
He was united in marriage with Jean Lewis on July 11, 1954, in Halfway.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Jean Redd; and one brother, Ray Dean Redd.
Survivors include two sons: Dale and wife, Deborah L. Redd, Buffalo, and Alan and wife, Deborah A. Redd, Lebanon; four grandchildren: Kimberly and husband, Mark McSorley, Liberty, Courtney and wife, Lacey Redd, Lebanon, Jamie and husband, Ozark Nunez, Willard, and Justin and wife, Jackie Redd, Halfway; 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers: Tom and wife, Lorraine Redd, and Herbert Redd, all of Halfway; and several other relatives and friends.
