Services: 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, at Countryside Assembly of God Church, Bolivar, under the direction of Pitts Chapel of Greenlawn Funeral Homes in Bolivar. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home.

Pastor Gray Nordan and Chaplain Tim Reynolds will officiate. Burial is in Plad Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Ronald McDonald House – Kansas City, in care of the funeral home. Online condolences can be made at www.greenlawfuneralhome.com.

James Clifford Fudge, 83, was born Oct. 21, 1930, in Plad, the son of James and Sylvia (Taylor) Fudge. He died Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013, at his home in Bolivar.

He married Marilyn Beth Kay on Sept. 5, 1950.

He was a U.S. Marine Corps Korean War veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Marilyn; two sons: infant Donald Gene and Ronald Dean Fudge; a daughter-in-law, LeeAnn Fudge; a grandson, Christopher L. Rhodes; a great-granddaughter, Desiree Lynn Rhodes; a sister, Mary McDowell; and a brother, Paul Dale Fudge.

Survivors include three daughters: Linda Rhodes, Bolivar, Lisa Marie and husband, Steve Brown, Lawrence, Kan., and Kathy Walea, Oxnard, Calif.; a brother, Richard Allen and wife, Sheila Fudge, Ventura, Calif.; two sisters: Virginia Marie and husband, Roy Swickard, Ozark, and Barbara Ellen and husband, Gary Hancock, Bolivar; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
