Jim H. Hash, 77, was born March 25, 1936, in Grandview, the son of Norman and Alice (Landreth) Hash. He died Oct. 24, 2013, at his home in Preston.
He was a member of the Carpenters Local 77 of Harrisonville, and the F.O.E. Post 4010 of Louisburg.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Sophia Hash; a son, Tom Hash; and two brothers: Jack Hash and Ray Gunnels.
Survivors include three children: John Hash and Wendy Benedict, and Danny and wife, Catherine Hash, all of Preston, and Joy and husband, Terry Adams, Cross Timbers; 11 grandchildren, including grandsons, John Hash Jr. and Nick Hash, whom he raised; 11 great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Debbie Hash; and many other relatives and friends.
