Graveside service: 11 a.m. Friday, May 12, Four Mile Cemetery, Long Lane, under the direction of Montgomery-Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo.

The Rev. Keith Pyles will officiate.

Johnny Ray Brown, 54, Elkland, was born Aug. 29, 1962, at Memphis, Texas, the son of James and Ona (Pound) Brown. He died May 10, 2017, at Citizens Memorial Hospital in Bolivar.

He was an oil field worker and a member of the Assembly Of God Church.

He was united in marriage with Ruth Marie Looney.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth; four brothers: Gary and wife, Cyndi Flynn, Tom and wife, Patti Brown, Richard and wife, Joy Brown, and Steve and wife, Monica Brown; and five sisters: Cindy and husband, Brian Welch, Ann and husband, Jimmy Booth, Gina and husband, Isidro Garcia, Shirlene and husband, David Bagby, and Linda and husband, Jay Perry.
