KATHRYN “KATHIE” SUE ATTEBERRY

Services: Private services will be at a later date. Cremation rites were accorded by DeGraffenreid-Wood Crematory, Springfield, under the direction of Walnut Lawn Funeral Home, Springfield.

Kathryn Sue (Palmer) Atteberry, 68, was born Nov. 21, 1946, in Pilot Point, Texas, the daughter of Roy Dyer Palmer and Lydia Edith (Vess) Palmer. She died March 22, 2015, at her home in Elkland.

She worked for the First National Bank of Fort Worth, Texas, before she was united in marriage with John Atteberry.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and taking care of her family and beloved pets, especially her kitties.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband of 40 years, John, of the home; and her daughter, Amy and husband, David O’Brien, Elkland.
