Kenneth Don Burdette, 65, was born Oct. 8, 1949, in Springfield, the son of Ralph and Frances (Gee) Burdette. He died Sunday, Nov. 16, 2014, at his home in Pleasant Hope.
He was a member of the Pleasant Hope Fundamental Baptist Church and was a lifetime resident of the Pleasant Hope area.
He was a farmer, rancher and cattle dealer in the area.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, James Lee Burdette.
Survivors include his three daughters: Kristi Mae and husband, Joseph Sarkis, Shawnee, Kan., Lindsey Nicole and husband, Tom Prior, Greeley, Iowa, and Carrie D. Burdette, Columbia; three grandchildren: Gabriel Sarkis, and Madison and Matthew Prior; two brothers: Dewayne and wife, Janice Burdette, Pleasant Hope, and Bobby J. Sr. and wife, Cathy Burdette, Valle De Oro, Texas; two sisters: Barbara and husband, Kenneth Buckner, Stockton, and Edith and husband, Douglas Mullings, Fair Grove; and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and -nephews.
