Leonard Lee Bliss, 63, was born Oct. 4, 1955, in Lebanon, Mo., the son of William Charles Paul and Helen Maxine (McDaniel) Bliss of Long Lane. He died Nov. 10, 2018.
He was raised in the Long Lane area and attended Buffalo schools.
On April 3, 1975, he was united in marriage with Donna Anderson.
He spent his days on the farm caring for his cattle and tending to the garden. He enjoyed being outdoors, especially hunting and catfishing. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, watching them play sports and attending their school activities.
He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather and will be dearly missed.
Leonard was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Donna, of the home; daughter, Rachel Gabani and husband, Michal, Bolivar, Mo.; son, Steven Bliss and wife, Kari, Long Lane; five grandchildren: Michelle and Lukas Gabani, and Brady, Paul Wyatt and Eli Bliss; four sisters: Wanda Hamilton, Lebanon, Sandra Peters, Buffalo, Shirley Bliss, Lebanon, and Jean Taylor, Camdenton; and three brothers: Charlie Bliss, Buffalo, Henry Bliss, Seymour, Mo., and Carl Bliss, Long Lane.
