Services: 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 30, Cantlon Otterness & Viets Funeral Home, Buffalo, Mo. Burial in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, at the funeral home.

Pastor David Larimer will officiate.

Escorts will be Eric Gronniger, Allen Meyer, Danny Meyer, Will Walton, Kenny Jamison and Nick Jamison.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mount Pleasant Cemetery Fund.

Lindle Leon Wiley, 78, was born Oct. 8, 1940, in Washington, Iowa, the son of Carl F. and Ethel Verlee (McCaw) Wiley. He died Nov. 26, 2018, in Buffalo.

He was reared and attended school in Winfield, Iowa.

After he graduated in 1958, he went to a trade school in Philadelphia, Pa., where he learned to apply floor coverings. After he finished trade school, he moved to Quincy, Ill., for a short time and worked for Pepsi. He then moved to Beatrice, Neb., where he worked as a maintenance supervisor for a retirement home for five years.

After his time in Nebraska, he moved to Buffalo and was united in marriage with Patricia Ann Kerr on Oct. 1, 1984.

He was a member of March Assembly of God Church and truly enjoyed reading his Bible. He could quote any Scripture asked of him from memory.

Lindle was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia; his parents; one stepson, Daniel Meyer; and one sister, Katie Reinhard.

Survivors include his brother, Randy and wife, Susan Wiley, Valdosta, Ga.; two stepdaughters: Jane and husband, Lawrence Wilson, Buffalo, and Vickie and husband, Kenny Jamison, Buffalo; five step-grandchildren: Eric Gronniger, Allen Meyer, Danny Meyer, Tashina Walton and Derek Meyer; 10 step-great-grandchildren; and other family members and many friends who will all truly miss him.
