Services: 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, Montgomery-Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo. Burial in Plad Cemetery. Visitation: 9 to 11 a.m. prior to services at the funeral home.

Luella Evans, 86, was born Oct. 1, 1928, in Joplin, the daughter of Roscoe and Jessie Mae (Allen) Johnson. She died Nov. 29, 2014, at Mercy Hospital, Springfield.
She was united in marriage with Leland Evans in 1946.
She was a longtime employee of H.D. Lee Company in Lebanon, and worked alongside her husband on the farm and raising their children. She loved her flowers.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one daughter, Barbara Lou Woy; two brothers: Ted and Harold Johnson; and one sister, Frieda Jones.
Survivors include her children: James and wife, Rita Evans, Lebanon, Marcella and husband, James Kirk, Fernley, Nev., Janice and husband, Stanley Lauder, Ronald Evans and Anita Ann Evans, all of Long Lane; 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandson born on her birthday.
