ROBERT “BOB” DUNCAN

Services: 11 a.m. Saturday, March 26, Urbana First Baptist Church, under the direction of Hathaway-Peterman Funeral Home, Wheatland. Burial with military honors by the AMVETS Missouri District 5 Honor Guard was in Cross Timbers Cemetery.

Pastor Ron Lilley officiated.

Robert “Bob” H. Duncan, 87, was born Feb. 23, 1929, in White Cloud, the son of Ward Harry and Naomi Beryl (Cothern) Duncan. He died March 23, 2016, at his home in Urbana. 

He was a cattlebroker and longtime resident of the Cross Timbers and Urbana area.

He was a U.S. Army veteran.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents; and his first wife, Virginia Duncan, in 1995.

Survivors include his wife, Edith Duncan, of the home; one son, Craig Duncan, Mount Vernon; two daughters: Jane Ann Williams, Grain Valley, and Kate Cox, Centerton, Ark.; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
