Services: 2 p.m. Nov. 17, Cantlon Otterness & Viets Funeral Home, Buffalo, Mo. Burial in Church Grove Cemetery. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Nov. 16 at the funeral home.

Shirley Ann Campbell, 87, was born April 11, 1931, in Lincoln, Neb., the daughter of William and Hazel (McCoy) Coy. She died Nov. 14, 2018, at Citizens Memorial Hospital, Bolivar, Mo.

She was reared and attended school in Nebraska.

On Dec. 18, 1947, she was united in marriage with Arnold Campbell.

They made their home in Lincoln, Neb., and the Ozarks, moving back and forth several times while he worked in construction. She worked several different manufacturing jobs to help support her family.

She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She always enjoyed getting her family together for meals. She also enjoyed gardening, taking care of her flowers, fishing, bingo and gambling. She was very generous and donated to many charities and organizations.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold; her parents; one brother, Kenneth Coy; and two sisters: Donna Reed and June Henry.

Survivors include one son, Leslie Campbell, Long Lane, Mo.; two daughters: Bonnie and husband, Anthony Gleason, Waverly, Neb., and Sharon and husband, James Sweaney, Buffalo; one sister, Gloria Ryburn, Monticello, Ark.; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; and other family members and friends who will all truly miss her.
