Graveside service: 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 27, Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, under the direction of Day Funeral Home, Marshfield. Visitation: 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Wesley Leon White, 67, Elkland, was born March 10, 1948, in Bakersfield, Calif., the son of Wesley and Jewel (Johnson) White. He died May 23, 2015.

He served his country in the U.S. Air Force and was a Seabee in the Navy.

He was united in marriage with Traseda Enoch on March 6, 1982.

Wesley was preceded in death by his father, Wesley L. White.

Survivors include his wife, Traseda, Elkland; his mother, Jewell E. White; three daughters: Sheila Marie and husband, Russ Jourden, California, Brandy Lynn and husband, Joe Girardi, Bolivar, and Mary Elaine and husband, Lem Freday, Springfield; 10 grandchildren: Brandon, Amanda and Kelcie Coffman, Cassidy Jourden, Christopher Nelson, Courtney and Joseph Raymond Girardi, Shelby and Alex Freday and Mikayla White; three brothers: Steve White, Richwoods, Johnny White, Long Lane, and Tommy White, Bakersfield, Calif.; three sisters: Edna and husband, Mike Stewart, Hollister, Nancy and husband, Leon Milne, Bakersfield, Calif., and Cheryl and husband, Bobby Riddick, Taft, Calif.; seven nieces; five nephews; 13 great-nieces; 17 great-nephews; numerous great-great-nieces and -nephews; and other relatives and friends.
