Yancy George Black, 51, was born Aug. 20, 1964, in Spencer, Iowa, the son of George and Pamella (Black) Alspach. He died Feb. 2, 2016, at his home.

He was a self-employed mechanic.

Survivors include his father, George Alspach, Fort Dodge, Iowa; his mother, Pamella Alspach, Long Lane; a sister, Georgette Wenzel, Grundy Center, Iowa, and a brother, Charles Alspach, Anamosa, Iowa.
