On Sept. 20, 11 members of the Branch Homemakers Club met at the home of Judy Griffin. After lunch, the women sang “Happy Birthday” to club President Pat Waters. The group discussed the upcoming craft and bake sale and quilt show. This event will be 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 29 at the Macks Creek Fire Station. Club members were encouraged to help set up tables and chairs at 2 p.m. Sept. 28. 

The Homemakers’ next meeting is scheduled for Oct. 4at the fellowship hall in Macks Creek. Billie Ruth Edwards and Freda Jackson will host. 

The next upcoming event for the Homemakers will be Oct. 12 with a fall harvest cookout at the home of Lonetta Bartell. More details will follow. 

If you would like to participate in this wonderful community sharing group, please come. We start at 10 a.m. every other Thursday and end by 2 p.m.
