The Camden County Farm Bureau Federation will hold its annual meeting from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at Oak Ridge Intermediate School, 526 Dare Blvd., Camdenton.

The Camden County Farm Bureau Federation has 1,492 members and is part of the world’s largest general farm organization.

The evening will start with a catered dinner and short introductions of local political candidates, followed by the speaker, Terry Halleran, University of Missouri Extension agronomist, talking about “Build It From the Ground Up,” a new program offered to owners of smaller acreages and farms who want to understand how to get their land to produce some additional income for the family.

Following Halleran, there will be a short annual meeting and election of officers.

Then John Loss, a Kansas City comedian, will complete the evening.

There will be gifts at the door and door prizes throughout the evening.
