The 2019 Carrie J. Babb Cancer Center Car Show will be rain or shine 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, at 1501 N. Oakland Ave., Bolivar.

Admission to the event is free, and all vendor proceeds will benefit local patients of the CJBCC. The event will include a barbecue and live music.

For the car show, all tractors, classic cars, motorcycles and hot rods are welcome. To register a vehicle or motorcycle, pick up a registration form at the CJBCC or register online at Registration costs $20, and pre-registration is due by Sept. 27. The first 20 registrants will receive a free T-shirt.

Registration also will be held from 8 to 11 a.m. the day of the event. Judging will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and a live auction is at noon. The trophy presentation will be 1:30 to 2 p.m.

Trophies will be awarded for Best Orphan, Best Mopar, Best Ford, Best GM, Best Paint Job, Band’s Choice, Kid’s Choice, Tim Looney Staff Choice Award, Most Unique/Custom Ride and Don and Carrie J. Babb Award.

The Cancer Community Support Alliance also will be available to answer questions.

The event is sponsored by the Central Care Cancer Center and Citizens Memorial Hospital.
