Registration is now open to chamber members for the 11th annual Dallas County Expo Extravaganza. The Dallas County Extravaganza Buffalo Stampede will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 4 at Buffalo Prairie Middle School.

The registration deadline is March 1.

There have been some changes, so please be sure to carefully read over the registration form and the Code of Conduct Statement.

Registration will open to the public Feb. 3, so be sure to get your forms turned in as soon as possible.

Our monthly chamber meeting will be at noon on Feb. 5 at the Dallas County Alumni Building. Our speakers will be Dr. Tim Ryan, superintendent of Dallas County R-1 Schools, and Hollie Elliott, Dallas County economic development director.

The chamber will host its annual St. Patrick’s Day Dinner and Auction from 5 to 8 p.m. March 14 at the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 62 Hall at 1100 N. Maple St., Buffalo.

You’re invited to come get your Irish on and help us celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with traditional Irish food, great music and wonderful company.

The menu and entertainment will be announced at a later date.

Donations for the auction are welcome; all items will be auctioned off in a live auction at the St. Patrick’s Day dinner. All proceeds from the dinner and auction help to fund the 18th annual Southwest Missouri Celtic Heritage Festival & Highland Games, Sept. 11-12.

If you would like to donate an item for the auction, please contact the Buffalo Area Chamber of Commerce from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday at (417) 345-2852.
