Insurance is confusing and overwhelming, except to an insurance agent. That’s why local insurance agents were invited to form a panel discussion at the July’s DIVAS meeting. They will give answers to burning questions like the following:

• What about a side hustle: Part-time direct marketing, selling crafts, giving lessons? Do you need insurance for these types of businesses?

• How does worker’s compensation insurance work in Missouri?

• Does general liability insurance cover business property?

The public is invited to the meeting at 8 a.m. July 19 at Expresso Co. No. 825 on South Ash Street in Buffalo. To be a member is easy — just show up. There are no dues or requirements. The women’s professional development group is an offshoot of the Buffalo Area Chamber of Commerce.
