Friends of the Dallas County Library will hold a special $1 bag sale on all items, Monday through Saturday, June 17-22, at 211 W. Main St., Buffalo.

The hours of the sale will be 8 a.m. to noon Monday, 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, 8 a.m. to noon Wednesday, 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Thursday, 1 to 5:30 p.m. Friday, and 8 a.m. to noon Saturday. All proceeds benefit the library.

The Friends’ bookstore offers gently used books, magazines, DVDs and audio books for all ages. This sale provides a resource for summer reading material, and there are many Reader’s Digest books that are popular for craft projects.

The purpose of the Friends organization is to focus attention on the Dallas County Library, and to support and cooperate with the library with respect to services and facilities.
