The next Helping Hands volunteer event will be 9 a.m. to noon on Sept. 21. Volunteers need to meet at the Dallas County Community Park on Autoscope Drive, just off of U.S. Highway 65. Helping Hands’ mission is to help community members in need.

“Be sure to come out and volunteer for your community, if you are available and able. We have all kinds of jobs for all ages and abilities. We try to have enough tools, snacks and water available for all volunteers,” Boggs said.

A special thanks to all who have helped during the past two years. The community is encouraged to keep the momentum going and continue to support those in need.
