James Arlie Parrack was born August 27, 1941 to Leonard and Pearl Parrack in Camden County and departed this life May 15, 2020, at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; a sister; a brother; two half-brothers; a sister-in-law; a brother-in-law; aunts and uncles.

He is survived by his brother, Leonard Floy Parrack of Elkland, Missouri; a half-sister, Judy Desmond & husband Greg, of Manchester, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

Arlie was saved in a revival at Tin Town Missionary Baptist Church. He was a member of Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church where he loved attending and was a faithful member until his health kept him from attending.

In the years before he was unable to, he worked on farms in the area.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, May 18, 2020 in the Parrack Grove Cemetery with Bro. Kip Baker officiating. Escorts will be Scott Perry, Andy Jones, Jimmy Moulder, Derrick Smead, Kenny Moulder, Jackie Moulder, and Lynn Dukes. Honorary escorts will be J. T. LaRose and Mike Miller. Services are under the care and direction of the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Colonial Springs Activity Fund.
