James Lee Grisham, known by his friends as Jim, passed away on Tuesday, March 12th, 2019 at the age of 83. Jim was born an only child on April 7th, 1935 to his parents Garrett Lee Grisham and Leda Belle Grisham (Richards).

Jim was united in marriage on March 15th, 1955 to Ramadean Walker, a bond just days shy of 64 years. Jim and Ramadean happily lived their lives on a farm in Urbana, Missouri where they raised beefmaster cattle. They had two children Shirley Ann and James Michael Grisham.

Jim and Ramadean were mostly seen on their John Deere Gator checking their cows or spending time with their grandchildren. He loved riding horses and working cows with “The Cowboys.” He had owned several horses, but he loved Blondie most of all. He and several friends would drive to Humansville for team penning. Jim loved running the bulldozer and driving the tractor baling hay on the farm. Several hours were spent on the front porch visiting with friends. The last several years you could find Jim and Ramadean on the front row at Skyline High School watching basketball or volleyball.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents Garrett L. Grisham and Leda Belle Grisham, great-grandson Douglas Kinslow, and his daughter Shirley Ann Evans (Grisham).

He is survived by his wife Ramadean Grisham, son James “Mike” Michael Grisham, grandchildren Airanna Kinslow (Evans), Patricia Patterson (Evans), Bill Evans, Dalton Grisham, Samantha Arthur (Grisham), and Abby Grisham. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren Austin Kinslow, JT Kinslow, Bryar Evans, and Brody Evans.
