James Paul Hook, born Jan. 21, 1942, in St. Joseph, Mo., to William Garnett and Opal Grace (Fry) Hook, passed away on April 11, 2019, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Mo.
He was blessed with three daughters: Kathy, Shirley and Rebecca.
Jim enjoyed farming, working his garden and woodworking.
His family was his greatest love.
Jim is survived by his wife, Nancy; three daughters; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; also three sisters: Mary, Peggy and Viola, all of St. Joseph, Mo.
He was an amazing person and will be so very missed by family and friends.
Memorial service will be announced later.
