Jesse Dowell age 67, passed away Friday, December 27, 2019 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri.

Graveside service was on Friday, January 3, 2020 at 2pm at Vansant Road Cemetery, Clinton, Missouri.

The family suggests memorial contributions to be made to Wounded Warriors and may be left in care of the funeral home.

Jesse Ray Dowell was born May 7, 1952 in Buffalo, Missouri to Victor and Betty (Dehl) Dowell.

He served in the U.S. Navy. He worked 13 years at Bolivar Ins. until his health started failing.

He loved boxing, throwing horseshoes, fishing, arrowhead hunting, and shooting pool. He was a member of the Buffalo V.F.W.

He was preceded in death by his parents Victor and Betty.

He leaves behind his wife of 29 years Shirley Dowell, four brothers, four sisters, three children, and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Jesse was a loving and caring husband and father.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton, Missouri.
