Linda Kathleen “Kathie” Ware Williamson was born Jan. 16, 1951, and passed away May 21, 2019, at her home in Kansas City, Mo.
Kathie was the daughter of Lowell “Fat” and Sarah Elizabeth (Bass) Ware. She was born and reared in Dallas County.
She graduated from Buffalo High School in 1969 and had recently attended her 50th high school class reunion.
Upon graduation from high school, she moved to Kansas City, where she worked for Gas Service Co. for over 40 years before retiring.
Kathie was a longtime Kansas City Royals and Chiefs fan.
Kathie was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister and brother-in-law, Connie and Sam Stull.
She is survived by her partner, Jim McAn of the home; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Chris Ware, Buffalo; nieces and nephews: Lori Allen, Lisa Stull, Robert and wife, Natalie Ware, and Mark and wife, Ashley Ware; and great-nieces and -nephews.
