Mamie “Carol” King of Long Lane, Missouri passed away on March 15, 2020. She was born on July 24, 1939 to Raymond and Mamie Hall in Greenfield, Missouri.

She graduated from Everton High School in 1956.

Carol was united in marriage to Richard Dale King in 1959.

Carol loved to do embroidery and word searches. She and her sisters enjoyed writing letters back and forth.

She loved her family. Carol especially got a kick out of taking her grandchildren on Springfield City buses and baking cookies with them.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Daryl and Gary Hall; two sisters, Janice Jones and Betty Ringenberg; and one son, Wade King.

She leaves behind one daughter, Karen King of Buffalo; one son, Timothy King of Springfield; two granddaughters, Courtney Boland of Buffalo, and Tiffani King of Springfield; one grandson, Adam Yeargan of Buffalo, and four great-grandsons, and one great-granddaughter; one sister, Peggy Douty of Ash Grove; and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at Greenlawn Funeral Home North on Thursday, March 19, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with a graveside service at 12:00 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Buffalo, Missouri following the visitation.
