Lt. Colonel U.S. Army (Ret.) Mark Crisman was born to Harold Rodney and Donna (Rutherford) Crisman of Tunas, Missouri, November 9, 1963, at the US Army Hospital in Wurzburg, Germany, and left this life on June 24, 2020, at a hospital in Seoul, South Korea, with his wife Jinsun, family and friends around him. He had lost his battle with cancer. He was 56 years and 7 months old.

Mark was a 1982 graduate of Buffalo High School and a 1986 graduate of Central Missouri State University. He entered the US Army after college and retired after 23 years of service at the grade of Lt. Colonel, serving all over the world as a Military Intelligence Officer. After retirement he worked as a government employee staying with the same unit doing primarily the same job until his death.

He was preceded in death by his mother Donna, 2004.

He is survived by his wife Jinsun; father Rodney and stepmother Donna-Kelso Crisman, formerly of Tunas, Mo., now of Farmersville, Texas. His daughter Calley and Ryan Johnson and Grandson Lane of Kansas City, Kansas. Brother Darin and wife Marla of Liberty, Mo. Nephews Ryan Crisman of Dallas, Texas, and Jack Crisman of Liberty, Mo. He is also survived by stepsisters Sandee Hymer of Richardson, Texas, and Sharon Clubb of Commerce, Okla., and many step-nieces and -nephews.

His remains will be cremated in Korea and will be buried alongside his mother at New Liberty Cemetery north of Tunas with a memorial service at a later date.
