Memorial Day Services will be held Monday, May 27 in Buffalo at 10 a.m. and Cross Timbers at 9 a.m.

The VFW post in Buffalo will hold its service at the Veterans Memorial Wall on the square, and two Vietnam War veterans will be honored. The late John Curtis and George McReynolds, both past members of the VFW, and their widows will be honored by speaker Major General Retired Jim Osborn.

The Cross Timbers service will be held on the square next to the Community Building. State Rep. Warren Love will be the speaker, and a color guard will be present. A list of veterans who have died will be read.
