Morgan Lane Scofield

Morgan Lane Scofield, daughter of Ken Scofield and Amanda Martin was born on May 9, 1995 in Osage Beach, MO and departed this life on June 27, 2020. At the time of her passing she was 25 years, one month, and 15 days of age.

Morgan was reared and attended school in Lee’s Summit and graduated from Woodland High School in Marble Hill, MO. She attended Jefferson County Community College in Hillsboro, MO.

She enjoyed listening to music, drawing, and art. Her greatest joy was being a mommy to her son Colson.

Morgan was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Sue Scofield; her maternal grandmother, Dorothy Martin; and her half-brother, Casey Fant.

She is survived by her son, Colson Arthur (his father, Parker Arthur); her parents, Ken Scofield (Janelle) and Amanda Martin (David); her brother, William Scofield (Stephani); five step-brothers, Zack Olmetti, Clayton Olmetti, Ethan Bird, Ben Bird, and Josh Bird; her half-sister, Grace Scofield; her paternal grandfather, Larry Scofield; her maternal grandfather, Dean Martin, her paternal great-grandfather, William A. Scofield, Sr. & wife Nancy; Colson’s paternal grandparents, Stuart (Kristine) and Stacey Dahlby (Rob). She also leaves many aunts, uncles, other family members, and many friends who will all truly miss her.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 3, 2020 at the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home with Bro. Kip Baker officiating. Interment will be in the Memorial Gardens of Memory Cemetery under the care and direction of the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo. Visitation will be from 12:00-2:00 p.m. Friday at the Funeral Home.
