Patsy Marie Duskin

Posted

Patsy Marie Duskin was a very compassionate, loving, and caring woman. She had a place in her heart for every person she met. She always had a way of listening, understanding, and would put a smile on everyone’s face.

Patsy was born on October 6, 1950 in Buffalo, MO to Bill and June Turner. She left this earth peacefully to be with God on January 14, 2021 at the age of 70, with sons Shane and Sham reading the bible and singing gospel songs.

Patsy accepted Jesus Christ as her savior and was baptized on July 3, 1960 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. She was a devoted member of Porter Chapel Church in Competition, MO.

She was happiest when she was spending time with family, working on crossword puzzles, bingo, playing cards with family and friends, watching her favorite game show, cooking, being outdoors, and being active in her church.

Patsy met the love of her life, the late Milton Duskin in 1971, and they spent 48 glorious years together. Their love for each other was unconditional and obvious to anyone who knew them.

The most important thing the night before her untimely passing was that she was able to spend time with all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Patsy was preceded in death by her husband Milton; her parents, Bill and June Turner; and her grandparents, Hugh & Bertha Pitts and Joe & Lettie Turner.

She is survived by her three sons, Shawn & wife Monica Duskin of Lebanon, MO, Shane Duskin of Buffalo, MO, and Sham & wife Melissa Duskin of Buffalo, MO; grandchildren, Joshua Duskin, Matthew Duskin, Abigail Tessmer, Taylor Duskin, Jordan Duskin, Bethanie Duskin, Sarah Duskin, and RayAn Duskin; great-grandchildren, Evan and Eli Duskin; and brothers, Bill Turner, Larry Turner, and Joe Turner all of Buffalo, MO. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and extended family.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home with Pastor Danny Delcour officiating. Escorts will be Sham Duskin, Shane Duskin, Shawn Duskin, Joshua Duskin, Matthew Duskin, Taylor Duskin, and Lynn Howe. Honorary escorts will be Bill Turner, Larry Turner, Joe Turner, Dusty Gann, Greg Faulkner, and Adam Tessmer. Music will be provided by Lynn Howe.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday at the Funeral Home.

Interment will be in the New Home Cemetery near Falcon, MO.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the Shriner’s Hospital.
