Crash near Eldridge

A Lebanon man was injured Sunday, June 21, in a vehicle crash with a pedestrian west of Eldridge, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Karen J. Zerbes-Mahabir, 57, of Lebanon was northbound on Kinfolk Road five miles west of Eldridge at 4:35 p.m. June 21 when the 1990 Buick LeSabre she was driving struck a pedestrian on private property.

James L. Matthews, 35, of Lebanon suffered serious injuries and was taken by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach.

Zerbes-Mahabir was wearing a seat belt.

Crash on Mo. 64

A Lebanon man was injured Saturday, June 20, in a one-vehicle crash on Mo. 64 north of Buffalo, according to the Highway Patrol.

Larry D. Sutton, 30, was eastbound on Mo. 64, 15 miles north of Buffalo, at 10:55 a.m. June 20 when the 2000 Land Rover Discovery he was driving lost control while rounding a curve, went off the left side of the road and struck a tree.

Sutton suffered serious injuries and was taken by air ambulance to Mercy Hospital, Springfield.

He was not wearing a seat belt.

Phillipsburg man injured

A Phillipsburg man was injured Saturday, June 20, in a one-vehicle crash east of Buffalo, according to the Highway Patrol.

Graden J. Ragland, 19, was eastbound on Mo. 32 three miles east of Buffalo at 4:45 a.m. June 20 when he fell asleep while driving a 2015 Buick Encore. The vehicle went off the right side of the road and overturned.

Ragland suffered moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital.

He was wearing a seat belt.

Pleasant Hope teen injured

A Pleasant Hope teenager was injured Tuesday, June 16, in a one-vehicle crash at Goodnight, according to the Highway Patrol.

The 16-year-old girl was westbound on Mo. 215 at Goodnight at 12:01 a.m. June 16 when the 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt she was driving went off the road into the ditch and overturned.

The juvenile, whose name was not released, suffered serious injuries and was taken to Mercy Hospital, Springfield.

She was not wearing a seat belt.
