Rachel Ann Swigert

Rachel Ann Swigert, age 47, of Merriam Woods, Missouri, passed away Thursday, October 3, 2019. She entered this life July 17, 1972, in Springfield, Missouri, the daughter of Terry and Cheryl (Medcalf) McConnell.

Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.

Rachel loved life, animals, and her family. She adored her grandchildren and they loved her back. Her happy place was anywhere near the water with her family. Memories of Rachel will bring smiles to faces for years to come. She will be dearly missed.

Rachel is preceded in death by her father; grandparents; sister, Tina Hutton; significant other, Donald Davidson; and aunt, Marceline McConnell.

She is survived by her mother, Cheryl (Bobby) Brown of Buffalo, Missouri; daughter, Shaylia (Dalton) Richardson of Altus, Oklahoma; daughter, Marissa Swigert of Buffalo, Missouri; grandchildren: Sabrina, Domanick, and Trinity; half-brother, Andrew McConnell of Buffalo, Missouri; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and special uncle, Jesse McConnell of Buffalo, Missouri.
