Filing for county offices opened Feb. 25 in the Dallas County clerk’s office and goes until 5 p.m. Tuesday, March 31.

The Missouri primary election date is Aug. 4, and the following Dallas County offices will be on the ballot: county commissioner north and south, sheriff, assessor, public administrator, coroner and surveyor.

As of early afternoon on March 13, Roger Bradley and John Maddux have filed for north commissioner. Cliff Young, Robert Dale Warren, Jerry Brown, Mike Lewis and Dusty Gann have filed for south commissioner.

Shelly Jasper has filed for assessor, Carol Johnson has filed for public administrator, Scott Rice has filed for sheriff, Matt Wisdom has filed for coroner, and Greg Maynard has filed for surveyor.

Everyone who has filed thus far has filed as a Republican.
