Central Trust Co., an affiliate of Central Bank of the Ozarks, announced Sept. 6 that Matthew Suarez, AIF, assistant vice president and portfolio manager, recently passed the Accredited Investment Fiduciary exam with Fi360, earning the distinguished AIF designation.

AIF is a recognized standard of excellence for investment advisers. The purpose of the Accredited Investment Fiduciary designation is to assure that those responsible for managing or advising on investor assets have a fundamental understanding of the principles of fiduciary duty, the standards of conduct for acting as a fiduciary and a process for carrying out fiduciary responsibility.
