The Dallas County Health Department will host a Drug Enforcement Administration National Rx Take Back event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26.

The DEA says, “Don’t be the dealer.” Prescription medications can be lost, misused or stolen. The Health Department urges everyone to keep their prescriptions safe. Expired, unused or unwanted prescription medications can be cleaned out of the medicine cabinet and taken to this event for safe disposal.

This event is being held by the Dallas County Live Well Alliance, in partnership with the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office and the Health Department.

The Health Department is at 1011 W. Main St., Buffalo.
