Travis Gene Richter

Travis Gene Richter, age 47, of Branson, Missouri, passed away suddenly Tuesday, October 22, 2019. He entered this life July 16, 1972, at Grand Forks AFB, North Dakota, the son of Stephen Richter and Karen (Goodman) Rieth.

Travis was known to have a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone who needed help. Always making people laugh and helping with their needs, he loved his family and friends. Through his time working at Shoney’s, he knew and cared for many people.

Travis also enjoyed woodworking and collecting Hot Wheels with his sons. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Travis is preceded in death by his grandparents: Maynard and Willie Richter, and Jim and Peggy Goodman; and his son, Jimmie Richter.

He is survived by his mother, Karen Rieth and husband Richard of Buffalo, Missouri; father, Stephen Richter of Branson, Missouri; fiancée, Valerie Adel and son, Lucas Richter, of the home of Branson, Missouri; son, Trey Richter of Springfield, Missouri; daughter, Zoe Richter of Springfield, Missouri; sister, Tiffany Rieth of Marshfield, Missouri; brother, Troy Rieth of Ozark, Missouri; brother, Trenton (Melissa) Rieth of Springfield, Missouri; several nephews and a niece; and stepdaughters: Myka Michaelis and Chloe Michaelis of Springfield, Missouri.

A memorial service was held on Oct. 29 in Hollister. Celebration of life will be held on Nov. 2 at Rock Prairie Cemetery in Halltown, Mo.
